Lewandowski Surpasses Messi and Ronaldinho with Record-Breaking Feat at Barcelona

Barcelona's striker, Robert Lewandowski, has achieved a notable milestone, surpassing legendary figures Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho in a new record for the club. The Poland international secured this feat by scoring two goals against Celta Vigo in their recent La Liga triumph over the weekend.

Lewandowski's double against Celta Vigo has elevated his goal tally to 50 at Barcelona, making him the third-fastest player in the club's history to achieve this milestone in just 79 matches. Notably, both Lionel Messi (117 matches) and Ronaldinho (108 matches) required more than 79 matches to reach the 50-goal mark for La Blaugrana.

The 35-year-old forward, who joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2022, now stands behind only Luis Suarez and Samuel Etoo. Both Suarez and Etoo accomplished the feat in just 68 games, showcasing Lewandowski's remarkable achievement within a relatively short period since joining the Catalan club.
