Napoli striker Victor Osimhen might see a change in coaching staff before their upcoming Champions League match against Barcelona. Reports from football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano suggest that Serie A champions Napoli are on the verge of sacking their current head coach, Walter Mazzarri.
Mazzarri, who took over from Rudi Garcia in October, has faced difficulties in steering the team, prompting the anticipated decision to part ways. According to Romano, the potential replacement for Mazzarri is Slovakia's head coach, Francesco Calzona.
Romano tweeted on Monday evening: "Napoli are set to sack head coach Walter Mazzarri. It happens ahead of #UCL game vs Barcelona, as reported—after he replaced Rudi Garcia in October. Slovakia head coach Francesco Calzona will replace Mazzarri with immediate effect, deal being finalized."
