Bandits Rampage Nahuche Village in Zamfara, Leaving Seven Dead and Scores Kidnapped
Gunmen suspected to be bandits carried out a terror attack on Nahuche community in Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State, resulting in the death of seven locals and the abduction of several others. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, according to Tasiu Nahuche, a source from the community.
Nahuche explained that the bandits, armed and shooting sporadically, invaded the village while its residents were asleep, causing panic and chaos. The exact number of people abducted remains uncertain, as the community members were reportedly running for their lives.
Efforts to obtain a response from the State police spokesman, Yazid Abdulahi, were unsuccessful as of the time of this report.
